Its main use is for settling large amounts of concrete, although it is also used to vibrate very large items such as shipping containers. The table is therefore set up to be able to cope with very heavy loads. Beams are set up on the table and spaced apart so that they can handle the load, and are set in place on heavy-duty rubber to contain the vibration and ensure stability.
